What Earnd collects
Earnd collects as little data as possible to deliver the service. Here is the complete list:
- Account data. If you sign up with email, we store your email address and an encrypted password via our authentication provider (Supabase). If you use Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive an opaque identifier and, where provided, your name and email.
- Subscription state. Your subscription status is verified via the Apple App Store. We do not receive your payment details.
- App settings. Your unlock goals and selected apps are stored locally on your device. Goal values are synced to our servers only to restore them on a new device.
What Earnd does not collect
- Your HealthKit data. Steps, active minutes, workouts, and calories are read on-device via Apple's HealthKit and never leave your iPhone.
- The apps you block. Apple's FamilyActivitySelection API hands us opaque tokens, not app names or bundle IDs. We literally cannot see which apps you've chosen.
- Usage analytics that identify you. We use crash reporting only (anonymized), and we do not embed third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
How your data is used
Account data is used solely to authenticate you and sync your settings across devices. Subscription state is used to gate premium features. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, and we do not share your data with advertisers.
Third-party services
Earnd uses a small number of service providers strictly to operate the app:
- Supabase — authentication and settings sync.
- Apple App Store — subscription processing.
- Apple HealthKit & Screen Time — on-device only.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing [email protected]. Deletion is permanent and typically completes within 30 days.
Children
Earnd is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
Changes to this policy
We will post any material changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Continued use of Earnd after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
